I posted some videos on You Tube that this community may be interested in. Mostly core training exercises that are really good for SUP. There is also a home gym article on my blog so you can do things in the comfort of your own home.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Wow those look hard. You have great balance. I'll have to jump on my ball and give it a try. I also liked the Velvet Revolver playing in the background. Good stuff.
thanks Evan. I'm currently almost finished with an e-book on Standup Paddle Fitness Training. I'll have it for download on my website . I'll keep the community posted...
Yes, there will be exercise programs for beginners, intermediates and advanced users. I am pretty much done with the text, just need to do the photo shoot with all the exercises. it will be focused on the following equipment - TRX Indo Board Exercise Ball Dumbbells Pull up Bar
You will be able to do this program at home easily and I have seen some great results with the program so far!
There's an interesting post on a cycle coaching blog that I follow that would be relevant for distance paddlers. It recommends long steady distance training at a low pre determined heart rate zone as opposed to high intensity training. For some guys the intensity stuff may well pay dividends but if you are prone to fatigue or injury you might want to check it. scroll down and look for FaCT Power Training
My e-book is finally finished. you can find it here
Hope you enjoy it-
I have been working on creating a conditioning guide for all you standup paddle surfers out there who want to make your body stronger and perform better while SUP'ing. It is finally up on my site for download - only $19.95! It is 66 pages of information on the latest in core training movements, gives 9 programs for beginners, intermediates, and advanced athletes, and is sure to get you in the best shape of your life! The programs utilize the TRX, Indo Board, Dumbbells, Ball, and a pullup bar.
I gave in and after being convinced by a couple of well respected bloggers, I now have my SUP Fitness Training E-book up for FREE! You can download it at http://www.fitnesstrainingbyjon.com/
