Last Sunday 2 of us ventured out for a downwinder on Bellingham Bay... sustained winds of 35mph & gusts of 50mph. Wind waves were jacking up to 6 ft. high. We donned PFD's, full suits, and a VHF radio and screamed across the bay. Can't wait to do it again...

Can anyone recommend a good board repair shop? First couple inches of my nose has some bing dings into the core. I"m on Whidbey island so Seattle or Bellingham closest. Thanks

I invite all the Pac NW SUP'rs to check out and demo my paddles at Urban Surf, near Gas Works Park on Lake Union. They are not like any other paddle you have ever seen or used. Check them out online at http://neptunepaddles.com and go put your hands on one at Urban Surf!

Another Starboard Demo Day in Bellingham!
November 8th, 10am-noon. This time by the picnic area/playground accessed by the golf course entrance to the park.
Starboard SUP's, paddles and Kialoa paddles. Dry suits by Ocean rodeo too!

I have a larger vessel with those big white sheet type things that works great when it is windy. Calm harbors=paddleboard 15 knots wind=SAILBOAT!!!!!!!!
