I don't have much info on the WA coast. I know that Robby Naish & Dave Kalama were at both Westport and LaPush last week and had excellent conditions; head high and off-shore winds. There are several spots along the Straits known as Twins, Elwa River etc. Also Hobuck by Neah Bay can be good in the a.m before the wind kicks up.

At 6:53pm on January 1, 2009, Jared Power said…: SUP has really taken off in Lake Tahoe in the last 2 years.There has been at least 5 events including Renee and I paddling around the Lake.I also travelled down to the 'Battle of the Paddle' at Dana Point,SoCal which had 274 paddlers in the open race and 80 participants in the pro race.I'm a Structural Integration/Rolf therapist and have utilised paddling as a movement education tool for my clients at Lake Tahoe.We warmly welcome anybody who wants to come and paddle here and even put them up for a few nights.
