- Kevin, AKU shaper is pretty easy to use, but spend some time playing around with it before setting out to design your board. The forum has great information on building techniques, tips, tricks, etc. And most of the info you need is there.

- Kevin, I designed my board using the AKU shaper software, and a free plug-in that converts the design to wood frame templates. Click on the website link on my page to see the process, then join the Tree-to-Sea forum for all the details. Feel free to ask me specific questions as you get going. Nice paddles by the way, I may hit you up with some questions on those.

Thanks for the response. I hope to visit the San Diego area next year, maybe we can hook up then. I want to bring my son down to Seaworld, he is into the ocean creatures. I took him to Maui to see the whales and dolphins he was really into it. Of course, I had to go windsurfing while I was there! lol What type of woods do you use? Have you worked with Osage before?
