Careful how much "location" & "spots" advertising you do in public... surfers already don't like us... if we start advertising spots that have been surfed for decades... our tires will be slashed (-: Silly I know, but realistic, yes.

Uh oh... the formula. I'm still curious to see what happens at the pm tide on Whidbey. I would love to hit either, but wifey's on mommies gone wild weekend at NYC... got to talk the sitter into some time.
Well, that's a good possibility, but I was looking more at Whidbey with my regular board. Maybe a dawn patrol on Saturday at Whidbey, then a ferry ride to the straits. Have tickets to the Lions/Hawks game on Sunday (GO LIONS!!) or I'd be on the coas…
Anybody heading out to the Straits this weekend? 19ft + at 16secs northwesterly direction. Maybe see a couple of you out there.

First Annual 'Round the Rock SUP Race - Mercer Island, WA 9/27/09 at Luther Burbank Park, Mercer Island, WA
September 27, 2009 all day
Shaping up to be the premier SUP event in the PNW! Tons of boards and gear will be on display with free demos.
Two races: the namesake 13-miler, and a 2.5 miler. Multiple divisions and age groups.
All proceeds will benefit Surfrider Foundation.

Yes, the race last night on Lake Union was fun but also brutal. Good practice.
